Tanzania is easily the best safari destination in Africa because it is home to the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park. Typically, the Serengetis wildebeest migration takes place from late October to early June. Due to the abundance of food during this season, about two million wildebeest and thousands of other animals chose to live in the park. By June, this will have ran out, causing the animals to move north to the Masai Mara.
